The language is coming. We were shopping one night for some fruit and the vender was talking to us. I didn't think he was even speaking Portuguese. I asked Elder Trovo if he understood anything he said and he didn't, so that made me feel a little better.
Some stuff about some of our investigators:
We are preparing an old lady for baptism. We finally got coffee out of her house that no other missionaires have been able to get for 2 years! She was at sacrament yesterday which was awesome. We also ran into a LA drinking last night, we threw out his drink (Literally, was pretty cool) and lead him back to his house. We taught a little about how he can get back up through the atonement of Jesus Christ. Hopefully he understood, haha. Another one of our investigators, Marco, has been having dreams about stuff in revelations, like the 7 headed serpent and other things, really interesting, but he is reading the Book of Mormon so it's all good! Hopefully he can have dreams about the stuff in there.
One day were having to run to an appointment with an investigator that is really promising, and we could either take a route that is 20 minutes, or take the freeway that takes about 10 minutes, so we took the freeway, haha. It has been raining and there was a ton of plants on the side of the road, so when there was a gap in the cars we would sprint to the next patch of dry ground. It was exciting, haha.
Another great week!
