Another great week! Yesterday we baptized Carol and confirmed her and Nevinha, the old lady we baptized last week. It was pretty funny because while we were preparing Nevinha to revieve the Holy Ghost, she called me her Godfather becuase I was the one who baptized her. We said that she could just call me the missionary that baptized her, haha.
We are preparing one of our investigators, Giovane, for baptism, but he and the person he is living with need to get married. We taught the Law of Chastity and invited them to live it. They accepted and after Giovane said he wants to get baptized!! Marriage papers here take a while to go through, but it will happen!
We taught Marco during the week, and found out that he has 32 siblings...man that's a big family, and a lot of baptism waiting to happen! He owns a gym and whenever we go and teach there we get at least 1 or 2 new potential investigators. They dont have a problem with the Word of Wisdom and are great at working hard to achieve goals, and look for the long term results, so they are perfect! Haha. We gave a Book of Mormon to one of his friends there, and promised that God will bless him when he starts to read this book. He started reading and in the same day he got 2 job offers, we were going to teach him but he was too busy working at his new job haha. Pretty sure he will get baptized.
We are working on getting all of Carol's family baptized. We are teaching the brother and at Carol's baptism her mother accepted the invitation of baptism and she said that eventually she will be baptized, woooooooooooo!!!!
A lot of Elders in our District are getting transfered so it will be fun to see who everyone new will be!
This week is going to be great! We planned well and are doing the work!
