Hey!
This week has been hard getting used to missionary life in the field. I thought it was going to be totally different than what it is here. Right now I ended up in Atoka, Tennessee. If you look on Google Maps, we are living in the apartment building right behind the Dollar General. I'll have to give you guys the address later.
This morning we got to do Cross Fit with the Bishop in our ward which was pretty sweet. We also helped build the back side of a members house on Saturday which was very interesting. The members here are amazing. They are friendly and feed us dinner pretty much every night.
As of right now we don't have any investigators, maybe because everyone has already found God and is happy, but hopefully that changes soon! We went tracting on Friday which was pretty sweet. We only got to talk to about 3 people for longer that 10 seconds but that's better than nothing! Hopefully being in the Bible Belt will help me learn the Bible a little better, because it seems like everybody and their dog knows it front to back, left to right, upside down and backwards.
My trainer is Elder Bice, he is from American Fork, but he moved there when he was out of high school. Its been going good so far! Our P-day is on Monday and we are with the other Elders assigned to the Millington area today. I'm praying for my visa to come, but I'm all good with doing the work here as well (but really hoping for my visa to come). I'll be sending some pictures along with this email so you guys can see me!
